A walking trail through Barnstaple, told through the paintings of Rosemary Barrow ARCA (1939–2019).
Discover the places she loved to paint, architecture, streets, and everyday scenes captured on location in all weathers, first in oils and later in watercolour.
Rosemary trained at the Royal College of Art in the 1960s and became a cherished local artist in North Devon, known for sitting out with her sketchbook and paints, observing Barnstaple as it changed over time.
Her work is a portrait of the town: its buildings, its character, and the small moments that make a place feel like home.
